Building a More Inclusive Future
For us at Starbucks Greece, meaningful connections with our communities are translated into initiatives that deliver continuity, consistency, and long-term benefits. As part of this commitment, we continue our collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages, with the support of The Starbucks Foundation, helping to empower children, teenagers, and young adults from vulnerable social backgrounds.
During the 2025–2026 period, our collaboration continues to evolve through the programme “Empower & Equip: Advancing Youth Opportunity and Inclusion through Skills and Support”, which focuses on education, employability, and social inclusion.
The programme has been designed to create sustainable, long-term impact by supporting not only young people but also their wider family and social environment.
Its activities include preparation for English language and digital skills certifications, career guidance and soft-skills development workshops, as well as initiatives that support the inclusion of young people with disabilities in the workplace.
At the same time, support is provided to parents and caregivers, strengthening the overall environment in which young people develop, build confidence, and prepare for the future.
The initiatives are delivered through the Child and Family Support Centres in Athens, Thessaloniki, and Alexandroupoli, creating meaningful opportunities for education, development, and social participation.
As part of the Month of Good, our collaboration also takes on a practical and hands-on dimension. Our partners participate in a volunteering initiative at the SOS Children’s Village in Vari, helping to organise facilities and storage areas, paint shared spaces, and plant in the outdoor areas.
Through their collective contribution, they help create a more functional, welcoming, and pleasant environment for the children.
